Alum\u00ednio has brought musical joy to his people for 25 years, and today is a reference point for reggae music in Brazil. The \u2018rastaman\u2019 brings messages of praise to Jah and to nature, with diverse rhythms from roots to dance, but always Nyambingh that pulses in the veins \u2013 this is genuine ROOTS ROCK REGGAE!<\/p>\n Alum\u00ednio, <\/strong>born in Riach\u00e3o de Jacu\u00edpe, grew up among the samba & reggae drums of Salvador\u2019s Pelourinho in Bahia, the heart of Brazil\u2019s music and rhythm. Influenced by the hypnotic power of Afro-Brazilian and Nyambingh rhythms, he developed as musician and singer-song-writer, inspired by his life experiences and spiritual connection. He became renowned through his regular events and activism in the Rocinha of Pelourinho. For over seven years, he drew in thousands of people every month from all regions and backgrounds, attracting national and international media, generating collaboration between artists and transforming the ghetto into an internationally recognised cultural hub.
